2009 State Business Leadership Conference
It's that time of year again!

The 2009 State Business Leadership Conference is coming up right around the corner! It is time to start fund raising and getting the word out! This conference is the time for YOU to shine in your area of expertise!

Besides competing at SBLC, members can attend workshops hosted by various business professionals, network with members from all over California, and run for State Office! Carpe Diem!

The early-bird registration deadline is March 6th at the cost of $169 per member! Registration submitted after March 15th, or "regular registration" is $179 per member! The registration cost includes two nights at the fabulous Westin Hotel in Long Beach and conference registration.

Payment is due in full to California PBL prior to the conference. All payments should be RECEIVED by Friday, March 20th via Google Checkout or by check made payable to: California Phi Beta Lambda and mailed to:

2nd Annual FBLA-PBL & Los Angeles Clippers Executive Sports Conference
The 2nd Annual FBLA-PBL & the Los Angeles Clippers Executive Sports Conference is on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Staples Center. The Sports Marketing Conference will begin at 4PM and last for approximately two hours full of guest speakers from Basketball Operations, Spirit Dance Team, Sports Marketing Executives from the Clippers, and many more! It is your chance to ask questions and learn from the best in the sports industry! The first conference package costs $25 and includes a ticket to the Clippers game, a McDonalds meal voucher, and the invitation to the Sports Marketing Conference. The second conference package costs $50 and includes a lower bowl Clippers ticket, a McDonalds meal voucher, and the invitation to the Sports Marketing Conference. Also, the first 100 conference registers will get to create a fan tunnel and high five the Clippers as they come running out onto the basketball court! Don't miss out! SFBLC 2008
The State Fall Business Leadership is taking place on Sunday, November 9th at UC Berkeley!

The cost per member is $25 and per non-member is $30. The registration deadline is this Sunday, November 2nd! Late registration will increase each cost by $5. The conference hotel is the La Quinta Inn, Berkeley and the cost per night is $119 per night plus tax. This includes two double beds, free high-speed internet, and free continental breakfast. Chapters are responsible for reserving the hotel rooms for their members. Payments are due prior to the actual event via Google Checkout or mailed check and no on-site registration will be offered.

FBLA LDI North/South
FBLA is holding their Leadership Development Institute this weekend,Friday, October 25th to Saturday October 26th at the Hyatt in Santa Clara and the Hyatt in Irvine! We have the priviledge of assisting at this year's FBLA LDI. It would be great if each chapter provide a few volunteers to iNetwork with the high school students! Although it is an all day event, we need the most members in the evening shift when we do our conference size "ice breaker."
