Inter-Chapter Mixer (ICM)

Inter-chapter mixer is the opportunity for chapter and state leaders to meet, network, and work together to improve PBL knowledge and marketing skills, learn about new state goals and programs, and get ready for the year! A smaller, more intimate setting helps chapter leaders and state officers to bond with each other. Join officers and ambitious members from across the state to brainstorm ideas for the new year, participate in team-building activities, relax, and have fun!

State Fall Business Leadership Conference (SFBLC)

This statewide leadership development experience is generally held in late October or early November for chapter officers, members with leadership potential, and chapter advisers. The SFBLC is planned and hosted by the state officers and the state management team. Sessions include motivational general sessions, workshops presented by state leaders, and training delivered by professionals from the business community.

State Business Leadership Conference (SBLC)

SBLC is the premier event for California PBL and the first level of the national business competition program. Participants have exciting opportunities to:

  • Compete in over 60 business and career preparation competitions!
  • Run for a state officer position!
  • Participate in informative and interactive leadership workshops!
  • Be a voting delegate and elect the leaders of California PBL!
  • Network with FBLA-PBL members from across the state, as well as with national leaders!
